This is week is going to be really busy. We are meeting with our Rabbi, the caterer, and the cake place all on Friday. Thursday I am going to get measured for my dress! Totally surreal it seems.

So we got our save the date magnets today! I was wondering of we should add a little note to put inside the envelopes. I know some people I have talked to dont even know what a save the date is. So should I say something like " Just a reminder so you can "save the date" for the wedding of _____ and ____" or no note at all? did you guys use notes? ( Read more... )

So I want to design my own save the dates and use vistaprint to make magnets. I want one with a little calendar on it of May 2009 with our wedding date circled (May 1st). For those of you who have done this how did you do the calendar? Did you download one premade or make one yourself? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Just had a frustrating day at the post office where we were told that we would NOT be able to send our postcards with magnets attached because they wouldn't go through the machine. I looked through the memories and found a lot of people saying "use envelopes!" but I'm interested in feedback from people who have actually tried attaching their save the date magnets directly to postcards (no envelopes). So, I attempted to make our own "Save the Date" magnets on business cards and then stick them onto sheet magnets... I have to mess with the settings on my printer to account for the card stock... but the images are cute!
